So… this has been a long time coming and now that I’m finished with it, I can say with certainty that it was worth the wait.  Its a great kit by Forge World.  I think I’ll just let the pictures do the talking on this one…World Eater Spartan Assault Tank 1 World Eater Spartan Assault Tank 2 World Eater Spartan Assault Tank 3 World Eater Spartan Assault Tank 4 World Eater Spartan Assault Tank 5 World Eater Spartan Assault Tank 6 World Eater Spartan Assault Tank 7These are the track links that I made for this kit as I wanted to add a little more detail to them than what comes stock.  If there is enough interest, I may actually produce them for sale similar to what I did with the Storm Shield.  Just a quick point about them, is that I’ve run very coarse sand paper over them to give them a used look, they are quite detailed if thats not your thing.  So flick me an email or leave a comment if its something you think you’d be interesting in seeing available for purchase.

If you look in the progress shot gallery you’ll se clearer images of what they look like fresh

Thanks for dropping in

Awesome job mate, really love that vehicle. And also loving the WIP shots as we. Interested in the tracks for my one when it comes along in the production queue, do you have any sets of the SH left?

  2. Pax says:

Wow – looks brilliant! Well done.

dam that looks good..love the bad ass dozer blades and the reactive armour covering the tracks are such a great idea!

beautiful model. Mine is still waiting for paint. I definitely would be interested in these tracklinks. Are they glued on top the original ones?
    Cheers

  5. I will be the first in line to buy those tracks. I have been waiting to assemble and paint my Spartan Assault Tank for track links exactly like yours ever since you posted WIP pics of your Sons of Horus Spartan. I have been praying that you would produce a kit as I don’t think that I would be able to copy the quality of your tracks. I bought your Terminator Storm Shields a few months ago and was very impressed with the quality of the casts and the overall design was fantastic as well. Please email me as soon as you have a set ready to sell, even if they are a prototype. I will but them immediately and get my tank assembled and painted finally.

Absolutely amazing buddy. It looks like real; looks like it weighs tons – superb weathering.

  7. […] was my World Eaters that stole the show.  The Spartan, Contemptor Dreadnought and Storm Eagle (no post yet) cleaned up, and my Reaver Titan also got a […]

  8. Forgive me for asking, it may be just me seeing things wrong,
    But…
Don’t you have either the left or the right Track running/ facing the wrong way/ direction?
On the left track it looks like it’s pointing/ running Upwards and the right track looks like it’s pointing/ running Downwards…
Again, appologies if i’ve got/ seen this wrong.
It’s Stunning work, i’ve ordered a set of those Dozer blades for my Spartan but i won’t be using the assault launchers.
And depending on how that looks, i’ll get a set for my new Cerberus…
    Regards
